In March 2010, the Zurich Opera will mount a new production of Offenbach's LES CONTES D'HOFFMANN, with Vittorio Grigolo singing the title role for the first time in his career.

"An opera discovery making his debut this month on 'Great Performances' made a splash at the press tour.

"Following a brief performance for a dinner at the press tour, Vittorio Grigolo plunged into the pool at the Ritz-Carlton [in Pasadena] fully clothed but quickly peeled down to his underwear.
